If I only chose to do one exercise for the rest of my life, I would make sure it was the Get-up. Never heard of them? You're not alone. They originated in Turkey and aren’t that common outside the kettlebell community.

But the important thing to note is everyone can benefit from this awesome full-body movement.


Get-ups are made up of a series of movements that bring you from lying down on the ground to standing up on your feet.


The move targets the hips, chest, shoulders, triceps, abs, back, thighs, and buttocks.


No matter your fitness level, this exercise will challenge your strength, flexibility, and stability—and yet it's totally doable.

The basics will be explained and demonstrated by Sheila in this workshop.
